Looking for work as a writer.

It's not an easy task to find work as a writer. It's a long process between getting your name out there and showing off your skills and what you have to offer as a writer. 

At first you get passed by a lot there's so many experienced well established writers out there it can be hard to get a spot. It's a competitive industry to be a part of. 

Constantly honing your writing skills is a big part of getting yourself established. You have to be willing to work hard always posting new content in different subjects. Articles, short stories and blog writing a just a few ways to showcase your skills to potential clients you can guest post as well. 

Building a portfolio is also a really useful tool it allows quick and easy access to your work and is great for supplying writing samples to people. I personally prefer Blogging it's a great way to find your niche as a writer as well as finding the style of writing you prefer.
